New to the U.S. market, the German-based home audio company REKKORD Audio has introduced its new F100 turntable
The REKKORD F100 turntable offers users a well-built and simple-to-use analog audio solution that can be used in a traditional audio system or in modern configurations such as a desktop system paired with an active set of loudspeakers. Distributed in the U.S. by Neconset, N.Y.-based Vana Ltd., the REKKORD F100 turntable features a black satin finish that’s designed to blend into a wealth of interior environments, and it utilizes a heavy aluminum platter that stabilizes the product to maintain proper playback.
According to the company, the turntable also employs a low-mass tonearm that is designed to minimally impact records.
The REKKORD F100 turntable comes preloaded with an Audio-Technica 3600L cartridge, which the company boasts is typically associated with higher level turntable products. The new, affordable turntable also includes a setup where the tracking force and anti-skating settings are pre-adjusted for accurate playback.
The company adds the turntable also employs a chassis made of pressed wood to reduce resonances to eliminate the negative effect of vibrations and other anomalies.
