Legrand Pass & Seymour states that its latest electrical outlet products are factory-terminated devices that enable dealers with a range of skills to install the products. The UL-listed Specification Grade Pigtail connectors are keyed to facilitate proper wiring installations into each unit. Legrand Pass & Seymour emphasizes that through the products’ connectors, professional integrators and electricians won’t need to fight with having to strip wires and tighten down screws. Once the receptacles are installed, the global company continues, the units are finger safe with no exposed terminals to eliminate the need to tape bare wire.
According to the company, the Specification Grade Pigtail Receptacles install five times faster than traditional outlets, and the receptacles include corrosion-resistant plated-steel straps that are locked into the units’ face and back body to help resist the pulling away from the face and body assembly.
The company also points out the new receptacles utilize impact-resistant nylon face and thermoplastic back bodies, as well as tri-drive terminals and mounting screws. Moreover, the Specification Grade Pigtail Receptacles’ auto-ground clip assure positive ground, and the outlets are available in a choice of models that include 15A, 20A, and 125 volt.
