Klipsch is set to launch its new Music City Series of speakers that includes the new Klipsch Austin portable Bluetooth speaker.
The global audio company says that its new portable Bluetooth speaker features a full-range 2-inch driver and dual passive radiators that are designed to augment the sound of the full-range driver. Klipsch points out the new speaker is capable of playing audio content for as long as 10 hours on a single battery charge, and the product features an IP67 dust and waterproof rating. Moreover, the Klipsch Austin portable Bluetooth speaker is said to be submergible through its IP67 rating in one meter of water for as long as 30 minutes.
Some of the other features the new Klipsch Austin portable Bluetooth Speaker offers users include the company’s Broadcast mode that allows playback on as many as 10 Klipsch speakers all at once. The 5.3 Bluetooth-enabled speaker is capable of remembering up to eight devices to support a range of activities, and the speaker incorporates an 18-watt USB-C charging port.
Additionally, the Klipsch Austin wireless speaker also features built-in to support phone and video calls, and the speaker is also supported by the company’s Connect App.
