Networking company D-Link is adding to its AQUILA PRO AI series of networking products with the M60 AX6000 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system that features AI technology that optimizes connections and traffic.
The Taiwan-based company says the mesh Wi-Fi 6 system can connect more than 30 devices simultaneously and features an AI algorithm that enables optimal channel selection to minimize interference, auto path selection and self-healing for dynamic traffic routing, and AI-based QoS technology that prioritizes real-time applications for a seamless experience.
According to D-Link, the AQUILA PRO AI M60 features an eight internal array designed to strengthen Wi-Fi signals and provide spherical coverage to eliminate dead spots. A three-pack system covers up to 8,000 square feet, the company says.
D-LINK says the AQUILA PRO AI M60’s Wi-Fi 6 technology boasts speeds of up to 6Gbps and features a 160 MH channel bandwidth, and can provide faster speeds than Wi-Fi 5 with multiple connected devices.
The M60 features a 2.5-Gigabit Internet WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices such as smart TVs and gaming consoles, making it ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications, the company says.
D-Link also highlights the security features of the mesh Wi-Fi system, including compliance with WPA3 encryption, IEC 62443-4-1, and ETSI EN 303 645 cybersecurity standards. The system also offers parental controls and a guest Wi-Fi network.
The AQUILA PRO AI comes with an app that enables setup with just a few taps. The AI Assistant continually monitors network performance and provides weekly reports, even when users are away from home, the company says.
The M60 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-controlled management of smart home devices.
The AQUILA PRO AI M60 Smart Mesh system will be globally available in the first quarter of 2024.
