Providing homeowners with more big-screen home video system choices, Hisense has announced the availability of its PX2-PRO and PL1 Laser Cinema Projectors.
The popular global electronics and appliance company says the PX2-Pro projector offers homeowners a large-screen experience that is highlighted by the projector’s ability to produce up to 2,400 lumens of brightness, and its ability to reproduce 100% of the BT.2020 color space. According to Hisense, the 4K projector also incorporates a built-in audio system that includes Dolby Atmos capabilities. Additionally, Hisense emphasizes, the PX2-PRO employs its Tri-Chroma Laser Light Engine, and the projector also offers users a Google TV operating system to allow homeowners to stream their favorite content from all of today’s popular streaming services.
Hisense’s other new laser projector announcement is the PL1 Laser Cinema Projector.
The PL1 is less expensive than Hisense’s PX2-Pro Laser Cinema Projector, but it offers several homeowner friendly options that include the company’s X-Fusion Laser Light Engine technologies. The company points out the PL1 Laser Cinema Projector is capable of throwing images ranging from 80 inches to 120 inches in size, and the projector is capable of producing brightness levels as high as 2,200 lumens.
Hisense adds the more affordable 4K projector provides Dolby Vision HDR compatibility and the ability to playback Dolby Atmos immersive audio content. Like the PX2-PRO model, the PL1 also incorporates a Google TV operating system.
