On Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, the Swiss-based audio company Stenheim will introduce its newest Alumine series speaker: The Alumine Two.Five loudspeaker.
Like its other loudspeakers, Stenheim states that its new Alumine product features an aluminum cabinet and high-efficiency drivers, and the company emphasizes that it will formally launch the speaker at the famous recording studio, The Power Station in New York City. According to the company, it first introduced its Alumine series back in 2010 with its Alumine Two bookshelf speaker. The new Alumine Two.Five loudspeaker utilizes a passive, two-way design that doubles the amount of drivers the original Alumine Two speaker employed to help the new floorstanding speaker to fill larger spaces with sound.
Stenheim points out the Alumine Two.Five loudspeaker incorporates a 1-inch soft dome tweeter, along with a pair of 6.5-inch woofers set in a bass-reflex design aluminum cabinet. The company notes the speaker also incorporates an audiophile-grade crossover network, and the speaker is offered in a choice of metallic light gray, dark gray finishes. Moreover, Stenheim will offers custom colors that include black, ivory or mocca with black front and rear finishes.
In addition, the 4-ohm speaker, which will be available on Dec. 1, 2023 provides a rated sensitivity of 93dB, and the company says the Alumine Two.Five speaker has a power handling capacity of 125 watts with 250 watts peak power handling capabilities.
