Adding to its selection of shade products, the new Draper Ascend roller shade solution has been announced.
The Ind.-based manufacturer says that its new manual shade is designed to make it easy for homeowners to lower and raise their window shades without any effort. According to Draper, its newest shade product eliminates hanging cords, bead chains and locking springs to offer homeowners a solution that delivers minimalist aesthetics, without compromising the functionality that’s expected with a shade product.
The Draper Ascend roller shade operates through simple gestures such as light touch of one hand upwards at the bottom of the hembar to move the shade up. A slight tug of the shade lowers the window covering product, and Draper emphasizes that through the installation of the roller shade, homeowners will no longer have to fight with bead chains and other mechanisms to operate their manual shades.
According to the company, the Draper Ascend FlexStyle can be combined with motorized and battery-powered shades in the same home to create customized shading systems to meet a range of homeowner needs.
Draper adds the shade is available in their FlexShade hardware, including fascia to allow integrators to match the products with other shade products.
