The newly rebranded Elan and Panamax brands, are now Nice, and the latest products from Nice are the HR40 remote control and DC12-IP DC Power Manager.
The remote will be shipping this summer and the power manager will ship in the spring of 2023 according to the company. Taking a look at the HR40 remote control, Nice states the remote provides more personalization options and access to a host of control options through its 3.1-inch color touchscreen. The company points out the remote allows homeowners to answer video doorbells, view surveillance cameras, and communicate throughout a home via intercom capabilities.
Nice notes the HR40 remote control provides integrators the ability to custom program the interface solution to offer functions such as swipe, scroll and touch control capabilities of their favorite smart home functions and components.
The DC12-IP DC Power Manager is a smart, compact, power management and protection solution that offers advanced surge protection, power sequencing, IP control, and BlueBOLT-enabled features. Nice emphasizes the DC12-IP offers cloud-based monitoring, remote control and programming of devices, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a Nice/ELAN control system.
Nice adds that its new power management unit can reduce and manage a home’s energy consumption. It also allows integrators to eliminate the bulky external DC power supplies that create clutter in the rack and cover other open outlets on AC power distribution units. In addition, the DC12-IP incorporates options for remote power and energy management.
