Recognizing groundbreaking consumer electronics technologies and installations, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) — in conjunction with CE Pro — announced the winners of the 2018 Mark of Excellence Awards at CES 2018, Las Vegas.
Presented in an evening ceremony at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, the Mark of Excellence Awards recognize some of the best residential and commercial custom installation projects performed by professional integrators, as well as top consumer technology products and services that are primarily targeted at the custom installation channel.
The 195 entries were judged by an independent panel of industry experts. Winners of these prestigious awards receive exposure via the websites and print publications from CTA and CE Pro. Every entry will be featured in the March 2018 edition of CE Pro.
The program also includes individual recognition. Brad Smith, president of Audio Video Design in Westwood, Mass., was named as the CTA TechHome Division Integrator of the Year Award. Helen Heneveld, principal of Bedrock Learning and a fixture in the custom electronics industry since 1989, was recognized with the TechHome Leadership Award. (More details on that recognition will be forthcoming on www.cepro.com.)
