Klipsch, a global audio manufacturer, has announced a quartet of new powered subwoofers: the Reference Premiere series.
The company states that its latest product launch is designed to deliver high levels of performance through the products’ high levels of efficiency by balancing amplifier power, driver capabilities and cabinet volume.
According to Klipsch, the newly announced Reference Premiere Series provide homeowners with high levels of low-frequency extension along with high levels of output, along with musical speed and accuracy. Klipsch explains that all four models incorporate its proprietary front-firing, spun-copper Cerametallic woofer that is said to provide a low frequency response with minimal distortion.
Powering the Cerametallic woofer in within the new Reference Premiere series of subwoofers is a built-in, high-efficiency amplifier that features an analog preamplifier design to help maintain the integrity of the signal path for “true-to-life” signal reproduction. The built-in amplifier’s Class D power section is designed for maximum efficiency to ensure the best possible output and low-frequency power.
Klipsch also points out the Reference Premiere series of subwoofers utilize its new Aerofoil slot-port design that is said to minimize port noise for clean, undistorted low frequencies.
