Since its founding, UK-based group Together For Cinema has relied on the generosity of custom industry vendors and integrators, plus constant fundraising efforts to help create the wonderful home theaters it’s been installing in children’s hospices around the country.
For those in the industry that don’t know Tom Dellicompagni, Together For Cinema founder Ian Morrish would like to introduce you, because the integrator and one of his friends is about to embark on an exciting and exhausting endurance event on behalf of the organization, which recently gained status as a Community Interest Company (CIC).
Dellicompagni is the managing director of the eponymous Dellicompagni “immersive interiors” integration business, a CEDIA member based in Staffordshire.
“He is a keen supporter of Together For Cinema and has committed to a challenging fundraising activity to help make memories for the children and families that we work with,” Morrish states. “One of Tom’s friends, Jim, has also committed to the same challenge to help Together For Cinema, and we are hugely grateful to him as well.”
So what is the crazy fundraising challenge this year, following last spring’s awe-inspiring fundraising effort from HDANYWHERE & OneAV managing director Chris Pinder?

Ride2Austria Follows Pinder’s Amazing Marathon des Sables Together For Cinema Effort
Including Together For Cinema, the ‘Ride2 Austria’ team is actually fundraising for 17 total causes with their June 23 to July 1 ride, including a few children’s hospitals and hospices. For further info go to https://www.ride2.co.uk/austria/.
For those who may recall, CE Pro talked to Morrish and Pinder in 2022 after Pinder endured the grueling Marathon des Sables, a six-marathons-in-six-days survival test in Africa’s Sahara Desert. Pinder’s feat helped raise over $50K for Together For Cinema last year, and he went into depth about the experience on the CE Pro Podcast.
The two-wheeled goal of Dellicompagni’s and his friend’s puts a twist on the challenging terrain for this year’s fundraiser, but it will undoubtedly be an extremely tough test as well. “This is a huge effort and if you’d like to further motivate Tom and Jim you can donate,” Morrish states.
The website for contributions on behalf of the Ride2Austria team’s journey can be found here. To make sure your donation goes to Together For Cinema, Morrish explains that donors should please add a message on the “Just Giving” page in this format: Together For Cinema – your message.
Any donations not specifying Together For Cinema will be split between all of the 17 worthy causes, he adds.
“Good luck Tom, good luck Jim, train hard, ride strong and keep well,” Morrish enthuses. “Thank you for reading this and thank you for whatever you are able to donate, every penny raised really does make a difference.”
