Crestron is releasing the Crestron Light Studio, a new lighting campaign designed to help residential integrators show off their prowess with Crestron Tunable Lighting and Crestron Home OS in their showrooms.
According to Crestron, Light Studio is designed to help create a dedicated space in a showroom where dealers can showcase the full potential of Crestron tunable lighting. They will receive exclusive benefits offered specifically for the Studio, including a discount on dealer prices of purchasing Crestron light fixtures to create the space.
The announcement comes months after the company launched Crestron Home OS 4, which included a new user experience delivered via Crestron DMX-C fixtures that is now extended to third-party lighting devices. Crestron in 2022 also launched new fully tunable light fixtures that are included as part of this offering.
Now, Crestron Tunable Lighting is integrated into Crestron Home OS 4, which is making the Crestron Light Studio possible for integrators. The aim is to allow Crestron dealers to be creative with Crestron lighting tools in their showroom.
“A Light Studio can help your clients imagine waking up to a gentle sunrise simulation that gradually brightens a room or winding down with a soothing sunset glow that helps them relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep,” the company writes in a blog.

Crestron suggests setting up a series of engaging events in the space that allow potential customers to see the technology at work.
“With our support, you can host interactive sessions, workshops, and demonstrations that educate customers about the benefits and applications of Crestron Tunable Lighting, letting them explore the endless possibilities of creating personalized lighting scenes that enhance their daily lives. From highlighting the potentially productivity-boosting effects of bright, cool lighting in a home office to demonstrating the calming and relaxing ambiance of warm, dimmed lighting in a bedroom, these events will inspire customers to reimagine their spaces,” the company writes in the blog.
Crestron says it will be promoting the use of Crestron Light Studio on social media and its newsletter and will use images and videos provided to drive traffic to dealer studios.
For dealers without a showroom, Crestron will over a light fixture demo kit and controller app to create a small-format display for a tunable lighting solution.
To enroll in the Crestron Lighting Studio campaign, integrators need to contact their sales representative with details on the space they plan to convert to a Crestron Light Studio or with a request to purchase a demo kit (or both).
