Introducing several new products to its product line, Vanco’s Pulse Audio brand has announced its new PA-EARCX, the PA230BWA, and the PA230SWA.
The PA-EARCX is an HDMI Audio Extractor with eARC, while the PA230BWA provides integrators with an In-Wall Addressable Bluetooth Amplifier, and the PA230SWA is a Wi-Fi In-Wall Streaming Amplifier.
Here is a closer look at the three new Pulse Audio products:
Pulse Audio PA-EARCX HDMI Audio Extractor with eARC: This product can de-embed or break out audio from a source to devices that include soundbars, AV receivers or integrated amplifiers. The HDMI 2.0b-compliant product supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) and eARC (enhanced audio return channel) to enable the playback of Dolby and DTS formats via pass-through and surround formats such as Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Pulse Audio PA230BWA 30-Watt, 2-Channel In-Wall Addressable Bluetooth Amplifier: The PA230BWA incorporates a Class D amplifier that is rated to produce 30 watts per channel, and the company notes the amplifier is capable of driving 4- and 8-ohm loads. Pulse Audio explains that users can connect their smart devices and computers to this in-wall amp via Bluetooth v5.0 or its 3.5mm analog stereo input, and Pulse Audio stresses the PA230BWA will prioritize Bluetooth.
PA230SWA 30-Watt, 2-Channel In-Wall Wi-Fi Streaming Amplifier: Joining the PA-EARCX and the PA230BWA is the PA230SWA. This in-wall amplifier offers the same specifications as the Bluetooth amplifier model—30 watts per channel and the ability to drive 4- and 8-ohm speakers. The amp works with Apple AirPlay and Wi-Fi direct, and supporting the amp, Pulse Audio offers its companion PASTREAM app, which is available for iOS and Android. This app the company adds, allows users to play and control music from a synced Spotify, Amazon Music, Qplay, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, or TIDAL account.
