Axis Communications celebrated the opening of its newest Axis Experience Center (AEC) in Vancouver, British Columbia on Wednesday, Nov. 16. This marks the third AEC opening for Axis in the second half of 2022, while being its second Canadian location. According to the company, Vancouver—or ‘Techcouver’ as it has come to be known, came as a natural choice to support its vision for growth and innovation.
The recent explosion of jobs and development for the technology sectors within the city, along with the fact that many Axis customers reside in Vancouver, further solidified the decision to have the city be the location for its next experience center, it notes. Now, Axis joins the ranks of Amazon, Accenture, JP Morgan and more in the growing tech hub.
“Axis remains committed to our integrators, partners, end customers, and the communities that they serve. By expanding our geographic footprint across Canada, we’re able to offer them hands-on access to our advanced technologies and work more closely together to create new solutions,” says Keith D’Sa, country manager for Canada at Axis Communications.
“Opening the Vancouver AEC is an exciting opportunity to establish a presence within a burgeoning tech hub and engage with our current — and future — partners thriving in this vibrant area while doubling down on our commitment to a more sustainable future.”
