Audeze has introduced its new Ultraviolet Edition Maxwell Headphones in partnership with Microsoft to support the giant tech company’s Designed for Xbox Summer product collection.
The Calif.-based audio company says its partnership with Microsoft dates back to 2021 with the launch of its Penrose gaming headset. The new Ultraviolet Edition Maxwell Headphones features Audeze’s planar magnetic drivers setup in a form factor to help gamers maximize their gaming experiences.
Audeze explains the Microsoft Designed for Xbox program premiered its first collection of gaming accessories in a variety of pastel colors in the spring of 2022. This year’s Microsoft Designed for Xbox program bolsters the upgraded color options through a color-shifting finish that was applied to the ear cups and headband using an electroplating process.
The company emphasizes the new Ultraviolet Edition Maxwell Headphones incorporate Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, Dolby Atmos object-based immersive surround sound audio, and FILTER AI noise-reducing microphone technologies.
Internally, the new headphones employ 90mm planar-magnetic drivers, and a potential battery life up to 80 hours for wireless audio applications.
Audeze adds the Ultraviolet Edition Maxwell Headphones are available for preorder now and the limited edition product will officially launch on August 15, 2023.
