After debuting at CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, Just Video Walls is releasing a microLED design tool that aims to streamline the quoting process to five minutes or less and ensures that the right technology goes into each job.
According to the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based firm, the patent-pending design tool enables custom integrators to enter the microLED space by starting with project parameters rather than the product lines or individual specs.
Instead of users being asked to select a cabinet or technology type, the system will present the best range of possible options based on a questionnaire derived from years of experience in installation and application, the company says.
The company says this new approach helps integrators grasp the concept that microLED is not constrained to just a few diagonal sizes and a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to the company, this approach helps integrators not get intimidated by microLED with a simplified input that can fit a space or design to a size and/or aspect ratio, resulting in a seamless presentation of the best options that include the correct technology and cabinet type for the project.
“Our new MicroLED design tool simplifies the entire process, putting the power of precision at the integrator’s fingertips,” says Skyler Meek, vice president of marketing at Just Video Walls. “No more complex cabinet selections or frustrating calculations—we’ve made it all easy, efficient, and accessible.”
The Future of Digital Lighting & Control
As a custom integrator, lighting is in demand. Effective communication, education and showcasing the value proposition of LED light fixtures in conjunction with integrative control systems are the keys to overcoming challenges and closing sales in this specialized market. Register Now!At the end of the process, the integrator is supplied with instantaneous pricing, including “good,” “better,” and “best” options, to help scale the project up or down based on the customer’s needs and budget. Dealers can immediately download a professional proposal in PDF format with all the project’s parameters and wall details—even processor specs— which they can then use to help close the deal and, later, keep track of all aspects of the job, the company says.
CEO Ryan Lampel says the company simply built the tool that they needed when they were integrating microLED and encountered the myriad options in microLED.
“That’s been our philosophy at every turn in this company,” Lampel says. “We are the kind of partner that integrators need, helping bring reliability and eliminating disruption—but at the same time, enabling success in this highly profitable category.”
In addition to speeding up and simplifying the quoting process, Just Video Walls’ tool stores every project created and tracks orders as they move through production, quality control, and shipping, enabling dealers to get an instantaneous view of the status of a project and lets them provide customers with the same transparency.
Just Video Walls is currently accepting applications for the beta program for their project design tool. This program is scheduled to last through the end of October 2023, after which the tool will be made available to authorized dealers.
