NuTech Group, a residential and light commercial rep firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, is set to host its annual NuTech Experience Vendor Showcase June 7-8, 2023.
The NuTech Experience is both a vendor showcase and an education and certification event for technology integration professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region. This year, The NuTech Experience will be located at the Harborside Hotel in the D.C. and National Harbor Area in Oxon Hill, Md. There, NuTech team members, manufacturers, and other trade pros will provide education, demonstrations, networking, and training certifications for attendees.
Sony headlines the event as a Diamond sponsor. Gold Elite sponsors include Coastal Source and Legrand AV. Additional event sponsors are Monitor Audio, AV Pro Edge, StormAudio, Pro Audio Technology, Theory Audio Design, DMF Lighting, Proluxe Lighting, Amina, RePure, Broan-NuTone, eero, IC Realtime, Salamander Designs, and Stewart Filmscreen.
New this year is an 8th Floor Demo Suite Experience, a multi-vendor experience within a residential room setting providing more intimate demo experiences and training opportunities. There, a lighting panel discussion featuring a lighting designer, lighting designer/consultant, and lighting vendor experts for indoor and outdoor lighting from DMF Lighting, Proluxe Lighting, and Coastal Source. As a member of the PureTech Alliance,NuTech Group will host a wellness suite featuring RePure, Broan-NuTone and eero as a total home solution.
Training and certification opportunities abound at The NuTech Experience that include:
- Sky Theater –Pro Audio Technology 5.2 system using the StormAudio Elite ISP 24 Analog processor, Stewart Filmscreen 150” diagonal, 16:9, Harmony G2 screen paired with a Sony VPL-GTZ380, 4K SXRD laser projector.
- Sneak peek at new 2023 Sony products: now shipping TVs including four new models to the BRAVIA XR TV line: X95L Mini LED, X90L Full Array LED, A95L QD-OLED and A80L OLED, all new ES 8K AV Receivers, and laser projector lineup.
- Coastal Source will offer a full dealer certification with hands-on training on outdoor audio and lighting. Space is limited and only qualified dealers are eligible to attend this session.
- Legrand AV has a special room called The Vault featuring product lines like Chief, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, On-Q, Sanus, and a working demo of the Da-Lite SightLine.
Each dedicated vendor training session will close with a product or gift card giveaway at the end of the session. Over 20 training sessions are planned, with giveaway items ranging from Sony headphones, Amina Edge 5i invisible speakers, DMF Lighting and Proluxe Lighting demo cases, and more.
Other activities include a TopGolf outing that is planned for Wednesday evening, June 7. All registered attendees are invited to come out and enjoy dinner, drinks, and one heck of a good time.
Registered attendees will receive a swag bag and a punch card they can complete as they tour the 8th Floor Experience. Completed punch cards can be turned in for a chance to win product prizes from Sony, Monitor Audio, RePure, Salamander Designs, and eero.
